Cox's Bazar(কক্সবাজার) is a district in the division of Chittagong, Bangladesh and longest natural sea beaches and tourist place of the world. The old name of Cox's Bazar was "Palongkee" and it is one of the world's longest around 120 kilometres natural sea beaches of Bangladesh. Cox's Bazar district is located around 390 kilometres from Dhaka city and 150 kilometres from Chittagong city. Cox's Bazar district is famous for natural sea beaches and tourist place. It is a part of the Chittagong Division. Cox's Bazar district shares borders with Bandarban Hill Tracts district and Myanmar on the EAST side, Chittagong district on the NORTH side, the Bay of Bengal on the SOUTH and WEST side.
