Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theater is a planetarium built on 5.46 acres of land at Bijay Sarani in Dhaka city. A planetarium can accommodate up to 275 visitors at a time. There are three types of exhibits. For example, documentary images of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Planet Show, Exhibits and Rides etc. Here shows of planets, stars and other celestial objects are presented. The planetarium includes smart-step floors, capsule simulators and 3D videos. A nuclear industry information center was added to the planetarium in 2013. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre located at Bijoy Sarani in the capital city Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is near to the Bangabandhu Military Museum.

History of Novotheater:

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theater was opened to the public on 25 September 2004. Its earlier name was Bhasani Novo Theatre. Novo Theater has been launched by the Ministry of Science and Communication Technology, Government of Bangladesh.

Bangabandhu Novo Theatre Off Day / Holiday:

Novo Theatre closed on Wednesdays and National Holidays.
